A free heart surgery camp for children will be held from October 21 to 25 at Andhra Hospitals in Visakhapatnam. The event is organized in collaboration with Healing Little Hearts, a charity based in the UK.
The hospital’s cardiac and pediatric intensive care teams will work alongside the UK team to perform complex heart surgeries over the five-day period. Dr. P.V. Rama Rao, Head of Children’s Services and Director of the hospital, confirmed the details in a recent statement.
