PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) — HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital has received recognition for its outstanding work in coronary care. The hospital was awarded the 2025 Coronary Intervention Excellence Award by Healthgrades, a leading physician rating and comparison database.
This annual award is given to hospitals that excel in addressing heart-related issues before they become critical. HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital has also achieved Five-Star ratings in several specific categories. These include a Five-Star Recipient designation for Coronary Interventional Procedures in 2025, as well as for Defibrillator Procedures for the second consecutive year and Pacemaker Procedures for the seventh straight year.
Hospital officials expressed pride in their service to Bay County.
